Our Scope

The Olympian Centre for Astrophysics aims to bridge the Greek research interest for Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Science with the respective European and International communities by organizing and coordinating multi-level scientific actions of orientation and collaboration, such as dedicated workshops, seminars, summer schools and international conferences, in the broader region of Pieria, in collaboration with the local society and its authorities.

The Olympian Symposium

The Olympian Symposium started in 2014

The Olympian Symposium aims to bring together world leading scientists to address world's most recent advances of the Astrophysical research. The Symposia take place in Paralia Katerini's close to the famous Mount Olympus and gather more than 150 scientists coming from more than 25 world leading Universities, research institutions and centres.
